I had to create a presentation to show my idea to the client. At this point I had decided on the values of the brand and had created a good logo for it. I then set about creating the presentation. Using example client pitch documents to get a general layout as well as things to include in the presentation. The presentation was designed to be short and concise, presenting the core values of the brand along with other information about the brands identity.
Below are the slides of the presentation. I felt that it was a strong presentation with the brand identity being strongly represented on each slide with the ‘R & Bird’ badge in a corner and the stripes of colour. This united each slide and made them work well together. I utilised illustrated imagery for a couple of the slides to add some visual interest and to incorporate an illustrative style to help make it feel approachable and more personable. Brief bullet pointed information accompanied it that were used to talk more in depth about each point.
The feedback I received from the client was mostly positive. They liked the work-life balance aspect of the brand and the story behind the idea. The ethos of the brand was well explained. They also liked the use of the R badge and brand colours on each slide as well as showing the final logo on the end slide. They mentioned that the illustrations used may be better if they were simplified as this would match the logo’s flatter appearance. They also mentioned that they would have liked to see some mock ups with the logo, to see how it might look in different applications. I’m overall happy with the feedback and can take it forward as I develop the brand further.
